I’m confused about this. I don’t know whether I’m a leftie or a rightie. It goes like this, im pro choice, anti the death penalty (within reason), pro euthanasia (again within reason, i.e. terminal illness). This is what confuses me; I think I am a contradiction!
I have very good reasons for believing in what I do, my question I suppose is what side of the fence do I sit on? Or should I just shut up and stay sitting on that fence?

Is there a sensible side though? I’m pro euthanasia, as long as the ill person has agreed to it…. preferably before they got ill…what is the right and wrong side of the fence?

Maybe should rephrase that, am mostly against the death penalty, but find that killing somebody who has killed makes you just as bad as them….
Also, im not religious, would like to believe but im too cynical to just accept what I’m taught

You are a confusionist !!!!
There are getting to be more and more of us !! The party is growing by leaps and bounds these days --- welcome aboard !! With the Confusionist Party there IS no left or right -- as a matter of fact -- sometimes it's difficult to tell up from down (?) !! The primary platform is --- whatever you think works for you !!
And, when it comes to fence sitting --- there are no fences here to sit on --- the party theme song is --- Don't Fence Me In !! Our next political rally will be held in the casino at Circus Circus in Las Vegas and our candidate for President is Tony Robbins !! This just may be OUR YEAR !!!!

I would consider you a moderate who may lean one way or another. I don't consider myself to be a conservative because I have many view points that true conservatives don't have abortion, and gay marriage being the two biggest, but I do consider myself to be a republican who would vote independent if the right person came along, but usually vote for conservative candidates because they share more things I do agree with then the liberal candidates. There is a difference in being a conservative, and being a Republican. The same as there is a difference between Liberals, and Democrats. Lyndon Johnson was a democrat, but he was no liberal.Giulianni is a republican, but he is not a true conservative.

You are not confused, other than using the term pro-choice for pro-abortion. Other than that opinion difference, your ballot probably looks like mine: the choices of a mutiple personality disorder patient. I think you are much less confused than people who go into the booth and vote a straight party ticket. The only hope I have is that there as many fruity voters in both parties that they will cancel each other out, then people that actually vote the issues instead of a party will be making the decisions.

so what you are saying is
you like for babies to die-------lefty
death penalty is not ok---------------lefty
you like elderly and terminal to die---lefty.

zero out fo three isn't very good. go to church, think about right and wrong and your euthanasia and abortion views will change.
don't feel bad, mostly when people are young they are liberal, it's a fact. but all you need is a true conservative (notice, i didn't say republican). think back 20 yrs, the republicans now are like the democrats back then, everything goes left of center in time until society goes nuts, self-destructs and starts all over.

Why do you want to be pigeon holed in either a lefty or righty box? be your own person, form your opinions based on reason and examination of the facts. Don't let extremist politicians from either side make your decisions for you

Stay where you feel comfortable. But do it for a reasoned reason! Not regurgitating others vitriol!

Pro-Euthanasia! We already do that on an unspoken basis by over-medicating with morphine to decrease respiration's!
What is "in reason" and who's?
