Marijuana is illegal in most countries because it is included in the list of prohibited drugs. It is only legal in Netherlands.

I think it depends on where you live, and what quantity you have. I think in Oregon you can have up to a certain amount on you without it being an offense. Of course, there is also medicinal marijuana. Other than that, don't know, don't care, don't use.
