Is it Required to have Reservation for SC/ST caste and Girls in Engineering, Medical and Goverment jobs?

In 1947 when our country got independance, at that time I agree the condition of SC/ST and other backward caste people was worst and they required help to raised off.
So Gandhi ji had given reservation in Goverment jobs and other sector for 5yrs which was extended to 10yrs after completion and still there.
Now situation is that General category does get admission in Engineering or Medical Colleges or Goverment jobs due to shortage of seats or vaccancies.
What I feel that whether a person from any caste according to the caliber and capability jobs and adminssion to the colleges should takes place as only they are only going to brings the india up.
For example a student got admission in medical due to SC/ST qouta but not deserve to get adminssion. Becomes doctor after 2 or 3 attempts and not able to operate the patient properly
I want to know what is the use of such doctors or engineer in india

Firstly Ghandiji was never in Government nor was he part of the constituent assembly that prepared the Constitution of India that promised reservation for SC/ST. Now for you question why such a person made doctor or engineer who is unable to work properly even passing the required exams after 2 to 3 attempts. This fact has been discussed hundred of times in various forums, courts, parliament etc but there is no reply for it as all the political parties who one time or the other ruled this country knows that withdrawing of the reservation totally will make them loose power from their hand as the majority of people going & voting them to get the seat of power belong to this category only. So dear friend tell me which mad dog has bitten these politicians that they will spoil their good relations with these very people who bring then in power. Now forget what all these politicians speak about social justice & social equality, they are all befooling the public which is the hard reality of today’s political system.

First of all, the core reason for providing reservation for SC/ST caste should be understood.

First reason is that the so called 'lower caste' people were denied education for thousands and thousands of years in the past by the upper class Hindus. Education (vedhas) were restricted to upper class people. So in order to correct the enormous historical blunder, reservation is being provided to them.

The second reason is any nation will not progress until the benefits of progressing reaches all people irrespective of race, religion, caste, creed etc. Our great nation cannot progress and become a superpower until and unless all group of people get the benefits of progress. Unfortunately SC/STs are still are far behind. Muslims are even worse in India.

One more thing that needs to be clarified is that reservation doesn't mean giving the opportunity to ineligible persons. The difference in cut-off marks for engineering/medicine is not much between SC/ST quota and general quota. It is an established fact that so many students from the oppresses communities have become excellent doctors, engineers etc. because of the quota system.

Let us be fair in our assessment and work for the future of the whole of India. India can shine only if SC/STs shine; only if Muslims shine; only if Brahmins shine.......!

In which law reservation is given to girls in any part of India?
When Gandhi donated reservations to SC/STs with expiry dates of 5 years and 10 years.?
Reservations in Indian society is a fact accomplish.Quality of the outcome,loss to the upper class genius have been talked time and again and over riding these sentiments it is spreading to all states.
During the past 50 years due to the so called poor quality
low caste doctors and engineers no calamity happened in India.Heaven has not fallen to earth.
Till castes are there in India, there is no escape from Reservations !
It is not far of -it will enter inside temples and also temples of justice soon !

reservation is not charitable one.Thousand of year these
were denied to get equal status by the name of caste and
religion.
it is the unwritten agreement between the castes to balance
the unequally.
all category students are failed not only S.C/S.T student.'
All appear for the next examination and then pass the test.
after that only they allowed to work.
There is so many private colleges to accommodate the general
cat gory student.. Most of the seat are reserved for the general category students.
if the higher caste want to eliminate the reservation, first they come forward to marry S.C./ST people and eliminate the caste in India.if there is no caste no reservation

Yes they have been oppressed for centuries. Atleast now their descendents could benefit from reservations. They must be socially uplifted even though they do not have caliber or capacity. Such people must have intensive coaching and trained properly from the institution to compete with other students by formulating special modules for them.

My friend, if no reservations, then how to get votes??. If there are casteless society, then on what basis will politicans fight the elections???
