The rule clearly states that a player who leaves the bench during altercation/fight will be suspended...so after reviewing tonight's play will Amare and Diaw be suspended for game 5?

I wouldn't be shocked if Horry is done for the rest of the series

Any thoughts?

What do you guys think of the Baron Davis play on former teammate and friend D-fish last night?

Also J-rich's clobbering of Okur?

The NBA should not suspend Robert Horry. It was the guy's duty to foul the guy with the ball to stop the clock. Unfortunately, Nash was that guy and he was accelerating downcourt with the ball that a slight nudge from a big guy like Horry would send him crashing down. Horry was never a dirty player although there must be some kind of an emotion that made him foul Nash that way. But again it was a duty foul more than anything else and to suspend him would be too harsh a penalty. No suspensions likewise for Amare and Diaw. Hey, this is the playoffs where emotions could really soar up. The refs should just let the guys play.

The rule states you can't leave the 'vicinity' of the bench. Which they really didn't. Another thing people aren't mentioning is the fact that the camera did not show a shot of the Spurs' bench so who knows what happened over there. If Bowen can get away with kneeing Nash in the balls and kicking Amare on purpose, then they can't suspend Amare and or Diaw for simply wanting to make sure their teammate was OK. If they do, then something is obviously wrong because what Bowen has been doing is far worse.

I didn't watch those other games you asked about.

i'm not prepared on the two the Spurs nor Suns, yet I dont think of that Amare or Diaw could've been suspended. I do think of that if the Suns coach didnt quit amare from stepping into the combat, amare wouldve been suspended for longer than purely one recreation, however the guideline is that in case you get off the bench throughout a combat then you fairly are ejected and suspended, and neither of them observed that rule. i became into watching it on replay, and it did seem as though amare had to connect in on the combat.

As for the Davis play, I thought he was good friends with Fisher so I have no idea what happens there

As for J-Rich on Okur, the Jazz pretty much had the game in hand so J-Rich probably thought Okur was trying to rub it in with a dunk attempt so J-Rich wasn't gonna let that happen. It was just a hard foul in my opinion

These guys know what they're doing when they do it.

JRich knew he'd get in trouble for the foul on Okur.
Horry knew that he'd get in trouble for the foul on nash.
Amare and Diaw both know they cant leave the bench.
Davis... im still deciding if i think that was a cheapshot.

Any suspension will seriously hurt the team. All the guys are important to the teams.

Hopefully Amare and Diaw aren't suspended for something so minor like that, but Horry should be held liable for that bs play, playoffs or not, that should never have occured, control your temper Roberto.

Have not seen the Suns/Spurs game hence no comment.

Wrt DFisher i think his just flopping on the incident (UJazz favor), and should be given the "Best Actor Award" that night.

On JRichardson i think he didn't mean to hurt Okur though he did, and Okur admitted that he over-reacted the situation.

They should be. The league has been good about enforcing that rule.
