All I see is a bunch of pathetic excuses for them being made by people who also have no character. Here we go again...
1) What does a completely unneccessary vicious forearm which sent Nash flying against the scorers table after the Spurs had blown it HAVE TO DO WITH "GREAT DEFENSE?"
2) What does Bowen sending his knee directly into Nash's crotch while Bowen has the ball HAVE TO DO WITH "GREAT DEFENSE?"
3) What does trying to step on someone's achilles while they're going for a dunk when you've been beaten on a play and can't do anything to stop the dunk HAVE TO DO WITH "GREAT DEFENSE?"
4) Holding onto Amare's leg while you're on the floor is "GREAT DEFENSE?" If you're such a good defender, what are you doing lying on the floor?
That excuse is a bunch of NONSENSE.

No they are not!!!! Why would the Spurs be jealous of the Suns? I live here in San Antonio and I Love my Spurs. I do agree that the Robert Horry thing was very uncalled for and he did deserve to be suspended. But Im sorry for all of yall who are Phoenix fans, yall are just BIG CRYBABIES AND WHINERS. There have been a few dirty plays that the Suns have done in game 4 against the Spurs.......but do they send a tape to David Stern? No!!!!!! Oh but of course for the Suns any lil excuse to try and knock the Spurs down. The Spurs are a great team, that is why they have 3 NBA Titles. Not to mention how rude the Suns crowd is......I mean I saw on a tape that after last nights game someone threw a water bottle at the court aiming towards the Spurs. Suns yall are just sore losers, you dont see us San Antonio Fans doing that. And then for yall to be shooting the finger at our players, yall dont have to like them, but have some class, that just shows how low some of the Suns fans are. For someone to tell Brent Barry, "you have no class", when he doesnt even know him is just Ridiculous. And then also a report of a bomb threat at the Spurs Hotel in Phoenix. That is just stupid and shows how ridiculous people are over there. Its just basketball. So overall the Spurs are not a dirty team, they just play with great deffense. And if you can't agree then buzz off. To me the Suns fans have to be the lowest class group of fans ever. So lets just watch these two great teams compete, and may the best one win. We can see how bad each team wants a championship!!!! and finally !!!!GO SPURS GO!!!!!

Well every team is dirty to certain point. There are good dirty players, and there are bad ones. The good ones are those who play dirty but don't get caught. The bad ones are those who do. And during playoffs there is more of it because you play rough and physical and it can appear as being dirty but the players know whether it is or not. However, without question Horry played dirty with the elbow knocking Nash to the floor and he knew it. He deserves a suspension for the rest of the playoffs. He is not their money player anyway like Amare is so not a big loss.

I few of them yes, but every team has those "dirty players". But I would have to say Manu, Horry, Bowen all fit the profile nicely. Just by watching the game tonight with the unnecessary foul on Nash from Horry, very dirty.

Not all , but some .....you have some bad players in every team I believe ....yeah that Robert Horry thing was not even called for and I think he should be suspended. Anyone who just knocks someone down hard and then walks off like he has big b@llz should get suspended. That's not good sportsmanship and I don't care if it is the playoffs. Control yourself and act like a grown man.

Bowen might be Chippy but i dont thjink hes dirty. He plays hard and makes plays that are legal but are outside
what might be consider fair.I dont thinK Bowen intentally
kneed Stoudermire below the belt.He was trying to claer an area and stepped higher than he should of .It was a bad
decison by Bowen.
Manu is far from a dirty palyer. The one iccedent wher he
kicked Stoudermire in the Nads was an accident.Overall
Manu is a very nice player. It was a accident and Stouderwhiner was just trying to find soamething to complain about
Horry is not dirty.I think he was intending to foul Nash by bumping him got caught up in the emotion of the game and bumbed Nash harder than he should of.He deserved the
Flagerent 2 call but to call him dirty is just silly.

you purchased me. As bill Simmons mentioned in a column a pair of months in the past "i do no longer think the Spurs are even remotely uninteresting, and anybody who says that doesn't easily like basketball." The Spurs do no longer play a slow-paced game, and that they do no longer emphasize protection. They ranked fourth in factors in keeping with game this season, and well-known in assists in keeping with game. they have been a extreme-powered offensive device with countless ball circulate for quite a few seasons now. No interesting gamers? staring at Tony Parker force the lane by using adult adult males a foot taller isn't interesting? How approximately Manu? he's no longer exciting to observe? the only ingredient uninteresting relating to the Spurs is their loss of drama and drama queens. they do no longer thump their own chest every time they make a stable play. they do no longer call one yet another out after a loss, they do no longer call for extra enjoying time interior the media. while the game is on the line they share the ball and seem for the final plausible shot, instead of spreading the floor and letting their celebrity bypass one-one-one, hoping for the final.

I don't know why people are upset with the Spurs. Its not like they are calling the shots. The rules are the rules and they have been applied all year so NBA players know what they should or should not do. So the Suns players knew the consequences to their actions. Rules shouldn't be bent because its the playoffs. That would be unfair to all players who have been penalized for this. And the League isn't showing favortism because Commissioner David Stern doesn't even like the Spurs. He's just doing his job.

The Spurs aren't dirty. They're just a good defensive team. Remember that TD and Bruce Bowen are perennial All Defensive Team selections and their defensive play simply rubs off to their teammates. The Spurs simply play heads up as exemplified by Bowen's defense. The Suns are just whiners. I wonder how would they react had they played in the 80's and 90's against the Bad Boys of Detroit and the Pit Bulls of Chicago. Rodman would've shackled Amare while Jordan or Pippen would totally shut down Steve Nash. And they would all whine.

yes, they are...other than the big easy tim. we cant deny that the sport is physical.
bowen is the enforcer of these dirty plays for the spurs.
ginobili is just proactive too much plus he's unorthodox (makes him swat other players with his elbows unintentionally)
horry is just frustrated.
the physicality of the game can be affected by emotions, either the team are championship contenders or not.
