No, I haven't ever done that. Not even when I had to give speeches. I just wrote notes on note cards, reviewed them, then got up there and remembered the jest of what I needed to say and ad-libbed as I went along. I am a talker, anyway, when I want to be. :o)

If you are not use to public speaking, than you should rehearse in front of the mirror. You can see your own impresions and it will give you more confident.

Public speaking is something I do very well. I talk to the refrigerator. I sometimes practice maintaining eye contact with the potatoes, or asking the corn if they can hear me.
