I found the following question/answer at the site of the URL below. I hope it helps!
Can I remove the old window tinting from my car windows?
Yes, it is possible, but it is not recommended because of the probability of damage to embedded defrosting systems and antennas. Even places which install tinting will advise you that if they remove old tinting, it is possible to damage those things. If you want to remove your own, you'll need lots of water, some ammonia and Goo-Gone, a razor blade, and a heat gun or hair dryer. Due to liability, further instructions are not included herein.

GOO GONE works well. Once you clean the adhesive off use either a mild soap and warm water solution for final cleaning to remove any residue from the GOO GONE. You can also get commercial grade window cleaners, just be careful to read them for ingredients that might react with copper, if your heating element is made of copper. Some ingredients can tarnish the copper and others can have worse chemical reactions. I have been advised many, many times not to use anything that contains vinegar on copper. I hope this helps.

Go to your local auto parts store and ask for a product called "tint off." It comes in an aerosol spray. You apply it to the tint and it will remove it without a problem.

Do not do that take your car to a professional who specializes in the installation and removal of car tint like your car dealership but get a estimate and found out how much it will cost. If you are not satisfied with the price shop around for a better price and get a professional who will not mess up your rear defroster because if you mess that up that will probably run about $600-$800 to get that replaced especially on a new car.

Your rear window defrosting wires are internal (between the safety panes of glass) you can't hurt them my removing external window tint material. Just take it off.
