Md. Azharuddin's case is a classic example of a person falling trap to the beuaracatic system prevailing in our country. When there is no proof of his invlovement and when the other players like Ajay Jadeja and Manoj Prabhakar are scott free and excused Azhar has been victimised.
Azhar with his experience can contribute a lot to Indian cricket and Indian cricket Board should think in a broad way and give him a chance to redeem himself.

Buddy, you are right, everyone deserves a second chance.
He should have been made the joint-manager with Ravi Shastri as he would be the teammate's Man.
He has been a successful captain and a very fine player, steering the team towards many victories.

Coaching is a profession and as such all the cricketers however good he was as a player cannot be a successful coach. In case of Azaruddin, he will not able to handle the senior players in the team too.

i think azhar would make a good coach,He was good batsman, exceptional fielder and a successfull captain, has had a long international career and lots of experience. He has a good understanding of the game and ideal temperament ,makes him suitable for the post. But he needs to prove is credentials before taking up the assignment, say by coaching a state team first

Yes. Match fixing will be trained very efficiently. Still Azharuddin would be better coach than Greg "idiot" Chappel
