He is unlucky but the main reason for his poor performanse is because he has not chosen the right team. In 2002, 2003 and 2004 he did a great job with Minardi and Jaguar and so he was offered a seat in Renalts and Williams. Since Williams had won the last race of 2004 he chose williams. While Renalts had a succesful year Williams struggled. In 2006 he had very poor reliability which lead to his downfall. So far it looks like Red Bull does not suit his driving style.

First, it's spelled "Mark Webber". Next, Mark may be unlucky in the sense of being in the wrong team at the wrong time but other than that no. Kimi was really unlucky during his stint at McLaren. remember frequent car blow-ups and getting shunted out the race? Germany 2005, i think. He was just one lap from winning the race when..... ah it's too painful to say. Alonso won the race.

No, he's not; Chris Amon was unlucky (not to win the 1970 Belgian Grand Prix). Pedro Rodriguez' BRM just pipped Amon's March-Ford by 1.1 seconds at Spa-Francorchamps, which was 14.080 km at the time.
Amon is probably the best Formula One driver never to win a race.
I think Tommy Byrne and Mike Thackwell were also extremely unlucky; neither got much of an opportunity during their abbreviated F1 careers.
I could be wrong, but I have a feeling none of the drivers I've mentioned are familiar to you; certainly I doubt you saw any of them race.

I don't know about the unluckiest, but yes, he is one of those poor guys who has been at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Apart from that lucky 5th in a Minardi, he really hasn't had much luck. His Jaguar years were notable only by his dominance over his team mate, front row grid position at Malaysia 2004 (clutch problem at the start), and a stratling number of DNFs. 2005 and 2006 with Williams really were years to forget (apart from a couple of podiums in 2005), and this year with Red Bull hasn't been all that great either. If only he had listened to Flavio (his manager) who had offered him a Renault seat in 2005......(Mark wanted to drive for Team Willy)

One of the unluckiest.
I think so.
How many drivers u have seen who've scored a point with a Minardi team(a backmarker team now called Scuderia Torro Rosso or STR)?
And that too on debut!!!
He's done that!!

He joined Williams but there's slump in the performance of team.
He needs a good team n then watch him

He might be the most naturally unlucky. Kimi is the most unlucky, but I think some of his DNFs are down to him. Webber just breaks down or gets punted off constantly.

unlucky only goes so far after so many years, you have to say its not the alignment of the stars but the guy in the middle of it all, DNFs because i guy ran into you from behind are unlucky, DNFs because a part failed is a direct reflection on the drivers technical input during testing,
