In that the Spartans were part of the Grecian force that attacked Troy, yes. If you mean did just the Spartans ever fight Troy, no, not that I've ever heard.

I thought Menelaus, the husband of Helen, was the king of Sparta, but I could be wrong, but the Spartans certainly went, every Greek city did. Troy was a rich place to conquer.

The Trojan war began as the Spartans and their allies against Troy. Helen was stolen from Sparta, to start uh.

TheTrojan war was Troy against the entire Greek army including Sparta. Trojan was was caused by Helen of Sparta, leaving Sparta for the prince of Troy

if I remember right there was about a500 year gap between the fall of Troy and the rise of Athens/Sparta and what we think of as classical Greece...so no..........it would be like saying did the Romans fight the Knights of the Round Table
