I don't think so, even if your "if" applied, which it doesn't.
There are plenty of fairy tales out there with tragic and horrific endings.
Many of the well-known ones, too, if you go back before Disney and others edited them, being unable to face their reality.
People cutting their feet off, dancing to death in iron shoes...
No, fairy tales don't have to be nice, and reality doesn't have to be tragic.

No. We are living a tragi-comic fairytale with a happy ending, but we haven't reached the happy ending yet. When we break down the illusion that causes suffering we can see the magic in reality. We don't have tragic ends because death is an illusion, it is another form of birth into a new form. Enlightened releasement from the bondage of matter is our happy ending, then we can hang out with the gods.

I don't think-- but it's been a long time, that happy endings define fairy-tales, but, you did say "if." Okay. Nor does "reality" necessarily end in tragedy. What else can I say? I'd just speculate that happy endings or tragic endings in fairy tales are precise. In life, the endings are a matter of perspective.

When we bring a project to an end according to a plan, the end result defines its reality regardless of project's success or failure.
However, we tend to remember the bad results and forget the good ones because of their lasting impact. The good ones are taken for granted after a while, whereas the bad ones leave a bad taste in the mouth, more listens to learn, and more pronounced reality to conceive.

For many, yes. But, realize that fairytales are always chaos inbetween the beginning and the end. That is where the reality is.

Alright, who said Fairy-tales are happy? You think Cinderella was happy living in glass heals? Hansel and Gretel probably have PTSD after the witch tried to eat them. Most nursery rhymes aren't even happy.
Reality is what you are aware of not necessarily what IS, I believe most people live in part fairy-tale in order to cope with "reality".
Okay, I'm done.

no absolutely no, it depends upon the fate written by God Almighty.
not all people have same life story , same character and same personality
so it depends upon the luck and deeds which we do in our life that directly affects our lives.
reality can have end of fairytale .
reality can be comprised of fairytale but fairytale can not be.
