Use a piece of string with knots tied at regular intervals

Cut your foot (?or other body part) off and use the length from toe to heel to measure

Standard notebook paper is 8-1/2 inches wide by 11" long.

you can use that to help make a ruler using some yarn or strips of cloth, ect.

another good rule of thumb, learn how long various parts of your body are:

one of your foots: my feet with shoes on are exactly 1 foot long as in 12 inches by the american inch ruler. Using my feet I can measure distances a foot at a time.

my hand with fingers as wide as possible, from the tip of my thumb to the tip of my pinki, is about 9 inches.

the width of my pointer finger is about 1/2 inch.

you can then use this knowledge to gage sizes of otherthings by comparing with a known size body part.

If you are still growing, you need to remeasure regularly to stay up todate about your person rulers.

You cant measure yourself, if u dont have anything to measure yourself with, unless you want to try measuring the distance between ur thumb and hand,(which is an inc.)and keep on marking it on a wall or something.

Well, you can use a book, or some other straight-edged object, and then later measure that object, to figure out inches and such. i.e.; Lets say that lying down, you are as "long" as 6 "math books" are laid end to end. If each book is 11 inches tall, you are just about 66" long/tall or about 5' 6" tall.

<>Measure a length of string against some object of known size, such as a 3x5 card. Then make multiples of the string length and use that to measure yourself.

stand in a door jam it is 7 feet tall and just guess the difference that you have it isn't exact but you will get an idea on how tall you are. if you have notebook paper that is 11 inches fold it in half and that in 5.5 inch so you can get it. to check the difference in the door top to your mark.
