1 ) Saddam, he had their respect and understood their ways. We arent like them and they will never be like us. Our interference into their region has no benefit to them. We would need to take over their entire region in order for democracy to work there. It's a sad but true fact, we bully countrys around over human rights issues and now this war on terror yet to them we are the terrorists that are losing them the few human rights they once respected.
