cream/ivory period is the best color to match with brown, hands down!! since you only have yellows to oranges to blue colors for tie color selections, i would choose a pastel yellow tie, or a bright orange tie. but leave the blue out. black belt and black shoes is not going to throw the outfit off...since everyone is trippin' that the black shoe and belt is all you have...trick it out with some black shades =)

If you're going to be wearing a brown suit with a black belt and black shoes, then you need to wear a white shirt. Otherwise you're going to have way too much going on. If the color of the suit is a lighter brown, it might look nice to wear a black shirt... it might tie it all together. But if the suit is a darker brown, that will just look dumb. I think you need to just buy some brown shoes and a brown belt. Then you can wear whatever color shirt you want... except black.

Well, I would either wear a light tan shirt, and dark brown tie to match the suits color, or I would wear a white shirt with a brown or tan vertical pin stripe and brown or tan tie. You could vary it some, and actually match the shirt with the tie, or match the shirt with the suit, and the tie to contrast. I guess you could match all three, if you don't mind being one color. Tends to be rather striking in some situations, as long as you aren't getting married in it. Oh, White shirt, Tan or brown tie, too.
You have really little alternative with brown. It is really not a mix and match color.
You mix and match just about any color with Blue, Black, or Grey suits, but, brown, well, browns tans and whites.
With blue, you go white shirt, RED tie, if you are interviewing for a job. You know national colors, seem to impress the interviewers, as well as look really good.

A light blue or pale yellow shirt either plain or with a very small brown pattern or brown pin stripes to go with the blue tie. Do you not have brown shoes and belt?
I agree with terace4, a pink would be very nice with brown. If you have medium or dark skin, that would be very attractive on you.

i think of a cream colored shirt would look extra suitable than white because of the fact it brings out the earthiness of the brown tone interior the tournament. a tie to tournament the tournament would be advantageous, or something in an understated brown tone in any colour would be superb. you need to probably get away with a brighter colour like a royal blue or green watching the shirt and footwear you choose.

I would probably tell you like this Depending on the state you live in. And another thing this is "Spring / Summer" seasons you don't wear dark colors such as browns it is more relaxed feelings colors. My saying is "Simple but not over done!" Keep that inmind....

Why not a creme shirt....with a black tie...so your color palette will be
Brown,
creme and black
or you could do a horizantal striped shirt with brown and orange color ranges....and deep brown tie...
