I love Heroes, but was it right to have Bennett continue to point that gun at Molly? I know it's TV and all, but I find it odd he wouldn't have put the gun down right away being she was just a young girl

My point in this question is simply that I didn't think it was very appropriate for a gun to be pointed at a young girl - i do get the point of why Bennett was doing it.

Yeah, right!! I felt the same way! And he should've at least told Mohinder (Suresh) that she was going to be used to find his daughter and people like her to experiment on them!!

Mohinder still had a gun on him, therefor he was putting Mohinder into a Catch 22 spot... If he shoots Bennett, Bennett will shoot Molly.

Its also late night television, 9pm. So I don't find it odd.

I think the season finale we'll see Bennett, Mohinder, and Parkman working together. Since they killed that one guy (forget his name) and Linderman is dead, they don't need to kill Molly, especially since she can find Sylar.

Edit: Its late night television when young kids should be getting ready for bed... I don't find it odd at all.

I think Bennet's actions are driven purely by his love of Claire and his understanding the Company and powered individuals. This understanding probably makes it easier (but still very difficult) for him to weigh up the life of one girl against the freedom and safety of all powered individuals. It's this kind of understanding and knowledge that makes Bennet such an interesting character I think.

Thats not the point. The point is that she is a tracking device. Basically, he didn't know she was a little girl and when he found out, he didn't care...he cares about his daughter more.

Yes, it was kind of messed up...but at least we know he can't actually kill her because you can't kill children on television.
