How can I fix my garden hose handle?
Pistol style garden hose handle broken, water flows out at full force regardless of whether trigger is squeezed or not.

Further, trigger does not push itself back into place when depressed. The "rod" that is in the horizontal top part of hanlde sticking out of end connecting to top part of "trigger" feels unnaturally loose, like it should be connected to something but isn't.

I think I broke this handle today just twisting on the nub at the end of the rod, right where it connects to trigger, thinking I would be changing the amount of spray or stream coming out of handle. Instead it seems I broke it, and connot figure out how to fix it. Cannot find any online resource. Manufacturer is "Agralab" but does not have webpage.

Please help, how can I fix my garden hose handle? Thank you

Throw it away and get a new one. I usually buy, not the very cheapest but the next higher priced one at Lowes or Home Depot. They get dirt in them and minerals in the water clog them up. Spray a little WD40 on the stem ever once in a while will help extend their life but as cheap as they are it is not worth spending time on.

Why go through this trouble when you can by a new one at Wal-Mart for $2.89?
