i had a program that would show the progress of what a window is doing without poening the whole window,?

on the bar at the bottom of the screen, if i put the mouse on a window on the taskbar, it would show what's going on in that window without opening it all the way.

Can you be a little more specific about what you mean by "what a window is doing"?
