Saltwater or freshwater? I'll assume freshwater, but either way really you will need a large tank. They don't stay that small for very long at all and are very sensitive to water conditions. For a single freshwater ray I would suggest at the least a 55 gallon tank and a 90 would be far better. It should be a very well cycled and very stable tank and offer very well designed decor. Please do your homework and investigate these fish before you spend the money on one. They are quite delicate fish.

it's not how small it is now... how big will it GET..

What kinda ray is it? Some adult rays may be no larger than a human palm, while other species, like the short-tail stingray, may have a body of six feet in diameter, and an overall length, including their tail, of fourteen feet.

Now thats a big tank you will need..

If it's saltwater, then I'd recommend at least a 50-75 gallon tank. If it's freshwater, maybe 30-40 gallons.

You need a biiiiiiigggg tank, like 50 gallons or more seeing as though it will get bigger and it has to be saltwater. You need a filter and the proper solution to make the saltwater.

At a large fish market if you are looking for one that is deceased. I do not know of any sources for live ones because as wildlife you cannot own one in most states of the US.

Whatever tank you get, don't put this toy in with the stingray.
