Oh goodness, everyone is going to have a different answer here. 'High Maintence,' much like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

Techinically it means that a lot has to be done to please you. For some people, this means that you want more, more, more, that you're never satisfied.

For example, I would consider my sister high maintenance because she is constantly bugging her husband to do this and that for her, definitely cannot take care of herself. She also demands certain things, like while we were camping she still wanted her makeup and hair done, and complained when we ran out of bottled water because she wouldn't drink from the spring. She also won't stay in a hotel that doesn't have a spa. Now, to me, that is high maintanence. But, to someone else, she might be a dreamboat!

It all depends on who you ask and what they are used to putting up with.

An example of high maintenance would be Paris Hilton, It's someone who puts allota time and money into being noticed and having the nicer things in life...and expects others to be accepting to what they need, which can be annoying.
