French horn music. Came into wide use in the early 18th Century with G.F.Handel, who used it in many of his orchestral pieces, including operas, concertos, oratorios, etc. Mozart was also fond of the french horn.

Mostly Classical, but occaisionally Jazz- for examples, check out Xavier Cugat. He really used the horn in jazz...
For classical music- Holst, Mahler, Prokofiev, Copland, Vaughan Williams...
And now, movie soundtracks. Anything by John Williams, James Horner...et. Basically, any big movie.
