Ok, I did a not so nice thing because someone pissed me off. No one got hurt, in fact the intented party never even knew what I attempted to do. But, still, my karma is messed up. I can tell. How can I turn it back around? My karma is usually good.

Undo what you did... right what is wrong... take back the thoughts, that is, say loudly, "I was wrong to do this and I truly regret it" and believe what you say.
Then go and do a good deed that is as closely the inverse of the bad one.
