I have a v710 and purchased a samsung wep 200 bluetooth and i hear alot of static and horrible buzzing sounds and people tell me I sound muffled on the phone when im on the bluetooth.

No , Bluetooth totally transfers the data without any prob.
Sound depends on the phone only.Its audio output.

It can only be the phone is the bluetooth module inside the phone is damaged or if the signal is weak

Try using the bluetooth on a different phone

Most likely it's the bluetooth unit itself, that particular unit is cheap and you get what you paid for, Try out a Motorola or a Jabra

all the research I have done indicates the BT headset is the key item. I would be surprised if it is the phone unless you are having bad reception. If the phone works thru its speaker/mike then the BT should work as well.

Problem is not many do. Including Moto. I read the reviews and bought a Plantronics Voyager 510. No one knows I am using a headset including in the car. It is clear even with wind noise.

it depends on the bluetooth device you are using.

it is proably the microphone in the headset that is causeing the issue try getting a new headset and see if the problem continues
