I have been taking The Pill for about 4 years and I want to stop taking them.
How do I do that?
Do I just stop?
Or do I have to wait for my period?
Thanks.

It would probably be easiest for your body to just wait out the rest of your pack. Since you've been on the pill for 4 years, at this point, what's another 1-3 weeks?

I just took the last of my pills and forget to get new script once. Thankfully I was not having regular sex lol. What happened was my period came early and after a few weeks I noticed some acne at age 34! The hormonal change messed my complexion up; I was so upset. I also noticed periods were longer off the pill :( I ended up going back on it.

Finish out the pack you are on and dont start a new
one, thats it. if going for pregnancy , wait a cycle or two after you've stopped before trying, it doesn't hurt anything if you dont wait its just recommended.

u can just stop. there are no side affects except maybe abnormal periods for a couple months and maybe some spotting. also, some birth control can make u gain weight when u stop. talk to ur ob//gyn! they should tell u.

I thought that you just stopped and maybe your menstural cycle would be a little weird. But, I think that you better go to your doctor first and she will help you.
