being scared would be a reaction of any normal human being.but it should be temporary and short lived;living in consatant fear only accomlishes what this killer wants to achieve.
you know what you stand for and believe.....dont be pushed by a coward.
pray to God and live a normal life.

Understandable that you are scared. However some of the other folks stated that you can't live your life worrying about stuff you can't control, and they are right about that. Don't waste your valuable time and precious energy worrying about being a victim. You know why? Because when you live like that you have made yourself a victim already which is a really awful way to live. Get help from a professional if you can't get past this on your own. Because if you continue in this vein you will end up a bitter old woman who never did anything with her life out of fear. I know, I grew up watching my mother "not" living her life to it's fullest because she was afraid of just about everything by the time I was in high school. Go and live your life and fill it with friends and good deeds and positive thoughts about yourself and your surroundings. By doing that you are not giving in to what terrorists would love to see. That is hundreds of thousands of people being afraid - of them, what they "might" do. Just live the best life you can, you cant' control the weather or when the sun comes up in the a.m. either but those things don't worry you I hope. You can't control what other people think or do just like you can't control the weather so don't worry, be happy. Seriously I'm not joking. Don't let fears about terrorism disrupt your life too much. None of us knows what our future will bring regardless of what the "psychic friends" network says.

Yeah, I don't like to hear about the terrorist stuff or attacks or anything either. The Virginia Tech massacre earlier this spring was really, really upsetting to me--I couldn't sleep, thinking about it. I kept thinking about what i would do if some guy with a gun showed up in my class.
What helped me some was knowing that worrying about it wouldn't help me or anyone else. It's hard to hear about--turn off the t.v. or put down the newspaper when you need to. If it helps, pray for the people who suffered as a result of the terrorist attacks. And know that, as tragic as it is, death is a part of the world--even though it's tragic sometimes. It helps me to know that many victims die quickly, with little pain.

No one wants to be a victim of terrorist attacks. We are much safer than people around the world, try to remember that. That is why are soldiers are overseas to try there best to keep these monsters off our soil. It may be a good idea for you not to read to much of the war if it is making you feel frightenend and anxious. None of us knows what tomorrow will bring so live everyday the best you can. Good luck and peace be with you.

Dont worry about these things. Things happens for a reason. Even though there is no planned terrorist attacks, natural disasters might happen and disrupts the lives of people. So in this case, dont u think it is just got to do with fate?

You should be scared hun. Its a good sign. The threat is real but a lot of people try to ignore it and pretend its not as big of a threat as it truly is. I don't want you to forget, I don't want you to think you are safe. As long there are terrorists and there are plenty of them it is a very real threat. The best you can do is support the troops, know that they are over there so it doesn't come over here. Know that the patriot act, as much of a pain in the patooty as it can be, is meant to protect us. To make it easier for the authorities to go after known threats. Don't ever forget that it does happen and we have enemies on our soil. But always walk with confidence, carry your head high and if you see someone in uniform, look them in they eyes and tell them "Thank You." They will be pleasantly surprised and grateful, you'll make their day. They watch the gates so we can sleep a little bit sounder.

Statistically there is a very very very small chance of being a victim of a terrorist attack. Even after September 11 the odds of your being involved in a fatal car accident, for example, are a lot higher.

Sweety were all not innocent. One great thing about being an American is that we should not live in fear of anything. Our country has been through alot. And will continue to go the way its been. Things arent so great with the Economy. Gas prices continue to go up and up. And for families just trying to make it they will have to endure to make ends meet. Thats why only the strong survive in a country like this.

It helps to remember that this stuff has been going on for centuries. Before the Muslims, it was the Communists and before them it was the Nazis who wanted to take over the world and who knows who before them. I grew up in the 60's and we actually had air raid drills in school in addition to fire drills in case we were attacked. Regular suburban people were building bomb shelters in their backyards and stocking them with supplies.
Another thing that helps is to stop listening to the news. The media could also be called terrorists with the way they stoke the fires of people's fears.

It is sad and unfortunate. But, it's not the best idea to live in fear. Or else, you might miss out on some great opportunities. The terrorist's main goal is to evoke fear in people. Do not let them achieve this goal. Live life fully and be as safe as you can, but do not drive yourself crazy with worry.

You can't live your life in fear the Bible says that in these days that..."[w]icked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse." (2Â Tim. 3:13) and that "... time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all. For man also does not know his time. Just like fishes that are being taken in an evil net, and like birds that are being taken in a trap, so the sons of men themselves are being ensnared at a calamitous time, when it falls upon them suddenly." ( Eccl 9:11-12). You just have to live life the best way you can and look to the everlasting reward that is mentioned in Psalms 37. I know that it is still distressing to see our world deteriorating around us but things aren't going to get better. This world is snowballing out of control and quickly. I found comfort in reading and studying my bible.
