I get: Bobby Abreu (NYY -OF) & Adrián González (SD - 1B)

I give: Tom Gorzelanny (Pit - SP) & Gary Matthews Jr. (LAA - OF)

- I am doubting that Abreu will do good and Adrián González wil remain hot the whole year.

- However, if I do this trade, I could trade away Giambi

- Is Gorzelanny to good to trade away

-There are better OF free agents than Matthews (Sosa)

Keep your SP Carpenter is out for a long time. WHo knows what Clemens will do.. If he turns into a great pitcher re offer this trade.

This is a GREAT trade for you. Abreu may not be what he once was but he will be good enough. I like Gonzalez though. I think he has the capability of staying hot the whole year. He was a number 1 overall pick, so they knew he had potential from the beginning.

I would say do it because you can afford to trade away a starter, because you are loaded with starting pitching. Matthews is on a hot streak right now and this is a perfect time to sell him while he is hot.

Really what you can do is put Gonzalez at utility and keep Abreu on the bench and see if he heats up. Then if he does you can find a way to put him in your OF or you can trade Abreu later when he has more value.

But like I said, go ahead and do the trade.

Take this commerce NOW. Rivera isn't having a solid 365 days on the 2d yet dont count quantity the Yankees out. There commencing pitching has been undesirable this 365 days, most of the starters have been on the DL and it is tricky to get to Rivera for a save. The Yankees will bounce returned. Make this commerce and later interior the season you may commerce Frazor,Zumaya, or Broxton for a participant that can assist you.

Do the trade as I doubt Gorzelanny will keep that up and Garry Mathew's play will struggle down the stretch when he is linked to more steroid allegations. Gonzalez would be a great fit for your team as you need a little more power.
