I discovered that God does indeed listen, if you take the time to talk to Him! :D I didn't HAVE to go to work today, and couldn't decide what to do last night. I put it in His hands and went to sleep. When the alarm went off at 4:45 this morning, somehow I rolled out of bed, caught 2 buses and made it there early. At the end of the day, I was given credit for 2 days of work! I then treated myself to a kind of expensive lunch that left exactly $1.72 in my purse, but came home to a surprise check from an old company for $80.60!!! I also ran into an old friend in between buses - totally out of my neighborhood in Los Angeles - and got a phone call from another friend who I was thinking about at lunch. Weird...
Like winning the lottery today!
