I am doing some research about 'the femmes fatales' of the history, but i cannot seem to find exactly what makes them so successful among men. It's not their beauty, nor their sexual ability to satisfy their partners. Apparently there's something unique about their personalities and reportedly, all men who got the chance to talk to them were absolutely seduced. Please, try to help me by enlarging on the matter as much as possible. Please, keep in mind i'm not asking you how the girl of your dreams should be like, I'm asking you to describe more what a woman should be like/behave like to win all men's hearts. I might sound a bit confusing, but i'm actually counting on you to clearify the matter for me. Thanks in advance. XXXX

My experience is that men are attracted to women who find men fascinating. Men love women who laugh at their jokes, compliment their clothing, seem impressed by their jobs, etc. A femme fatale is a woman who is smart enough to understand the innate need of men to be desired and respected, and she satisfies that need without demeaning herself or him. A femme fatale also understands that men love the female body, and she presents herself and her body in a way that is warm and welcoming, but not hot and sleazy. A femme fatale also knows how to keep her emotions in check, and she doesn't burden men with her issues. She saves the drama and the tears and the tantrums for her girlfriends and for her mother. Femme fatales never spill their guts to men, and they don't answer every question in a direct fashion, which gives them their mysterious aura. I think that these traits are inherent in women and also taught to them by their mothers and grandmothers. Women who are femme fatales for their own gain I find to be manipulative, stupid and embarrassing to all women.

You should DEFINITELY read the book "Seductress: Women Who Ravished the World and Their Lost Art of Love" by Betsy Prioleau. It's about seductresses throughout the ages, how they defy stereotypes of the typical "bombshell," etc. She mentions in the introduction of the book what these women had in common; you could probably use that for your project. Hope this helps! :)
