A mirror, or anything that you could see your reflection in, would you be able to do it??
How about a toothbrush?
I'll admit it, I'm a bit vain when it comes to my reflection, so I'm not sure I could do without a mirror or anything of the such. && a toothbrush, oh heck no! I HAVE to have my toothbrush.

I could go without a mirror before I could a toothbrush! I mean when I'm sick I can go without looking in the mirror because I know how awful I look so I would treat it just like I do in that situation. But I am super crazy about my teeth so I need my toothbrush.

I wouldn't be able to pull off not having a mirror. No way. I can do without the toothbrush for a while, though. I didn't brush my teeth one weekend I went camping - I had forgotten my toothbrush at home.

No mirror, no problem. No toothbrush, hmm, would have to find a substitute. Some kinds of green twigs work well, the Boy Scout Manual says.
