Yes, there is a lot of oil, but it is government run, so no ordinary citizen benefits from it.
With all the oil in Mexico wouldn't it have made more sense to invade it for it's oil?

They are poor because they have a very corrupt government and a cast system. You know there is a problem when 20% of the population has to leave to make a living something is intrinsicly wrong with the government. I fear the new immagrints will bring thier corrupt gov to our country, it's happening in Los Angeles already with the mayor.

Mexico's corrupt government controls the oil.
Mexico is not part of the US and won't give up oil for nothing.
The rich and powerful don't care about the average Mexican.
(that is why they are flooding the US and taking jobs and benefits from US citizens).
