madonna. i know she's been around for a long time now, but there is nothing special in her voice and that's what you need to captivate audiences. instead she does it with her outlandish videos and outrageous publicities. though, her music is good, her songs are good and all that, i don't think she's a very good singer. her old songs- like a virgin for instance, get to my nerves. they TRY to sound sweet. i know that you might say that people without a good voice wouldn't run for such a long time, but as i said, her songs are good- her voice is nothing special. every other person from a hither-thither group could sing her songs- there is no special effort. she's not the worst female vocalist of all, but she is not good keeping in mind, her success. look up to her, but sorry, madonna
