Yes! Some people don't know they have it for a while. Maybe they are just not paying attention. But...if you suspect that you might have chlamydia, then you should definitely go get it checked out (even though it's embarrassing, it's essential!) because it can have major negative effects on your body! And I think all they do is give you an antibiotic prescription and you're free to go home.

yes you can, someone can have it for a year and not notice it. Guys have different symtoms than woman. You can go to planned parent hood and they will give you antibiotics that would work through an infected person system in 7 days curing the disease

At least a quarter of people with chlamydia will have no symptoms - that's why it gets spread so easily - they may not know they have it until a partner shows symptoms.
