well, anything too big for the ADF to eat, but too small to eat the ADF. Other than that dodge aggressive species. I would also suggest you stick with fish that live in the middle to upper levels of the tank.

I have 4 ADF's, they are split into 2 in a 5g tank with a betta. Seems to work well and the frogs sit on the bottom, the bettas hang at the top and nobody is bothering anyone else.

The bettas love the live blackworms I use to feed the frogs and the frogbites. LOL

If it's a small aquarium, a male betta is a good choice. And it eats from the top. Many have been kept quite happily together.

Community fish are most ideal. Such as tetras, gouramis and guppies. Try not getting semi-aggressive to aggressive (i.e. most cichlids) fish because either they will eat the frog when they get bigger, or they will pick on it and it will die from stress.

Neon tetras, zebra danios, small gouramis, any small peaceful fish.
