I am a licensed massage therapist and I know for a fact that prostitution is NOT legal in Vegas.
As a general rule of thumb if it is a studio run by asians, it is most likely prostitution. There are a few legit asian-run places around time but they have a hard time getting serious clients. Any spa in a hotel is legit and many day spas are also legit.
You also have the option of using a mobile therapist who wil come to you but need to be careful there as well. Hands On is a good reputable company for both spa and mobile massage.

First of all prostitution is in pahrump, not vegas.
but to answer the original question:
at a casino or nice location... no. just a massage.
on an ofstreet, or mostly asian. absolutely. if you think that isn't true just look in the phone book. An asian girl in a sexy pose with large breasts isn't usually the first thought for a "ligit" spa. But a whole lot of em use just that. here let me highlight some of the sales pitches used by the massage parlors in the phone book
"Make your dreams come true"
"beautiful chinese therapists"
"asian touch full body massage"... and the advertisment photo is of lipstick and cherries.
"Special massage requests taken" (these girls will come to you where you call.)

Prostitution is NOT legal in Las Vegas. It is legal in other parts of Nevada. So no, massage parlors in Las Vegas are not prostitutes.
There are some massage parlors in Las Vegas that are sleazy and do involve "happy endings" but there are many massage parlors that are legitimate.
