it is most likely sick.. sometimes fish will flail around and scratch their bodies against the rocks etc.. enlarged belly is another sign.. a pet store would be best to ask but i recently found that walmart now carries pretty cheap (3$) and effective medicine for fish... there are like 3-4 different boxes with possible symptoms etc.

Double check your water's ph levels just to be sure normally when a tigerbarb breeds it is a very short process from the eggs being laid to hatching

It has more than likely Bloat.Where their bodies are long,they get constipated.Needs help in the diet section.

Most likely it has swim bladder. Google it and check all the symptoms.
