I've had to listen to this riduculous argument for a year now since the Heat won their rings. LeBron is far and away better and will prove to be for many years beyond Wade. Wade is a bigger Allen Iverson - takes way too many hits to help his team deep into the playoffs. His constant abuse of his body will catch up with him. He is a great player, but he is not LeBron.
When a hard foul is given on LeBron, it is the defender that goes flying, not LeBron. I have a very good friend that tried to make the defense argument. Nice try, but D Wade has Alonzo and Shaq cleaning up the middle and he has to guard the 2 guard on the perimeter. LeBron's defense has improved dramatically in the playoffs with key blocks at the end of games. Not to mention he has to guard a bigger player at the 3 spot and spends a lot of time trying to help defend the post. He has Z Ilgauskas in the center position to be big and slow and not really help much. Not to mention that Drew Gooden in the 4 spot is a very, very weak post defender and defensive player in general. If Boozer had stayed, Cleveland would be a legitimate favorite to win a championship. As it is, the have a decent shot to get to the finals. Last year LeBron took Detroit to 7 games, and really got the assist for the Heat being able to rest enough to beat Detroit in the East. This year may be the year for LeBron to get past the Pistons and into the Finals.
I have seen Shaq turn Penny Hardaway into the "next Jordan." Penny didn't come close to the Finals without Shaq. I've seen Shaq win Kobe 3 rings and allow him to grow into a great player despite being a ball hog. Kobe won't be back to the Finals anytime soon, if ever. Now Shaq has turned D Wade into one of the better players in the league, but let's not get carried away. LeBron is arguably the best player in the league. D. Wade is arguably the best player on his team.

I think it's LeBron. He is bigger, he is stronger, he is probably the best in the league at driving to the hoop, and he is a better shooter than D Wade. On top of that, hes 3 years younger. Yeah Wade won a Championship, but any team that has Shaq is going to win a Championship sooner or later. If Wade didnt have Shaq, then that team wouldnt have gone past the Bulls. LeBron is also a better passer and makes all the people around him better players. LeBron can also hit threes and pull up and hit long jumpers. He is just a plain better player than Wade because he can do everything that Wade can do, but better, along with the fact that hes a better shooter and passer.
LeBrons only weakness is his Free Throws and the fact that hes not as clutch as a player of his caliber should be, but that will come with time and age.
By the way, LeBrons team is pretty good. Larry Hughes is a monster from long distance, Illgauskus is friggin 7 foot 3, Gooden is a rebounding machine... Come on, give them some of the love.

If you break it down statistically Lebron holds a decisive advantage over Wade. Lebron averages more ppg (26.7) than Wade does (23.8). They are pretty well matched when it comes to shooting percentage, but Lebron is more accurate from 3 (31% to 25%). If you look at the postseason Lebron's ppg is much higher than Wade's. Lebron averages 29 points a game, including 20 straight games of 20 points or more to start his playoff career which is second to only Kareem Abdul Jabbar. In comparison Wade hits for 25 a night in the playoffs. It is true that Wade does have the hardware with a championship ring, but I think that even though Wade was the MVP, having one of the most dominating big men of this era in the low post is extremely beneficial. LeBron doesn't really have a supporting cast, that is why the Cavs will be lucky to get past the Nets, and their chances are slim against a physical Pistons team. But head to head, you have to go with Lebron. Not only he is bigger and stronger, but Wade is going to be coming off of shoulder surgery next season so who knows how he'll return. Lebron is younger and healthier.

D Wade is...Hes much better on defense. Defense is half the game. On offense id also give it to wade, but just by a bit. Wade is ridiculously efficient, he gives u 30 points on like 15 shots sometimes, thats ridiculous and often overlooked.
His performance in the finals last year was also amazing. 35 pts a game, shooting around 60 percent field goal percentage, hitting big shots in the clutch...that was also ridiculous
So, wade is just ridiculous. and hes better than lebron at this point. But remember, lebron is 3 yrs younger (i think, or 2 yrs younger)...so give lebron a couple years and he could be better.

Lebron has the better all-around talent. He's a great passer and a strong rebounder and he can certainly score. On the other hand, Wade is faster and quicker and, like Iverson, unafraid to take it strong to the basket despite his smaller frame. Yeah, he won the title with the Big Fella, but we all know that Wade was the main man and the MVP of that series. I think Wade's edge over Lebron is his ability to make his teammates better players and his excellent play in the clutch.

I agree LeBron's team is terrible. D-Wade has Shaq. Both are good however. Lebron has also taken his team deeper with less
(Taking Detroit to 7 Games, and Having a 2-1 lead vs. Nets this year)

i prefer to declare Lebron because of the fact so some distance he has been extra helpful. yet after staring finally years Olympics I would desire to declare Wade is extra helpful. He carried his team to a Championship, (With a a million/2 of a Shaq,) and became into named Finals MVP. HE does extra with much less. human beings can argue Lebron does the comparable. So what if Lebron and D-Wade have been on the comparable great skills stacked team? Which brings me returned to the Olympics. LeBron avg 15.5 pts a interest. fairly much 14 pts much less then his NBA total. IN 24.40 5 minutes in line with interest. Dwayne Wade avg sixteen pts a interest in 18.40 5 minutes a interest. HE additionally shot at 40 seven% from 3 (Lebron at 40 six) seventy 4% from 2 (Lebron at sixty seven) and sixty 3% ft (Lebron at 40 six) So via cutting-edge circumstances its Lebron. yet whilst communities have been distinctive or maybe, then its Wade/ EDIT: Superman, is that why Wade became into Finals MVP? And whilst Wade have been given harm and Shaq became into the guy, that they had the Worst checklist interior the NBA? particular rings do recommend a project. and don't develop that Nerd because of the fact particular rings = team attempt yet FINALS MVP = the suitable participant.
