use a really hot curling iron with a small barrel (maybe 1'' around). once the iron heats up, wrap small sections of hair around the barrel one at a time holding for about 10-15 seconds each. carefully unwind the hair from the curling iron and wait at least 1 minute before touching it so the curl dries.

When I had long, straight hair, I used Clairol Hot Sticks to get spiral curls. I had to use a lot of hairspray to make them last, but I used to get a lot of compliments. You can get the Hot Sticks at Wal-Mart. Be patient, because it takes some practice to use the rollers.

Ringlet curls. Well it depends on how long your hair is, I can only do mine half way down because I have long hair. But Redken makes a spray I think for ringlet curls.

just get a curling iron and seperate your hair into layers. it might take a while, but do little sections at a time, and each time hairspray the curl. theyre be nice, tight, and bouncy.

they make special curling irons for that otherwise, you could do pins curls those work well or you could try to make it work using a regular curling iron
b.t.w. they are called ringlets (the curls)
