My dream is to become an actress and a singer, (I also song write) and I want to know how I can find acting auditions in my area! I live in Chicago and this has always been a dream I hope to come true! :)

Living in Chicago it would be difficult bc the amount of gigs that are actually there. But in anycase you can find auditions with such places as craigslist..believe it or not. and also some good companies to try would be exploretalent.com and also facefinder.net. I know the owners of facefinder and they are a very legitimate company .

Call the community theater and ask where you can find them.
Ask your acting teacher and actor friends, they are the best resources for auditions.
