Mower deck kills the engine when engaged in a 2005 lt1000?

Question

engine runs fine until the blades are dropped, it kills the engine completely. The under carriage is clean of any obstuction and blades move. I don't see any debris on the top side either.

have your battery checked engaging the blades put more strain on the battery if it is week engaging the blades will cause it to cut off
