Last summer. My family rented a house for a week in Nags Head, North Carolina. We've been vacationing there for the past nine years. Very beautiful area. On one side is the beach, and on the other is the golf course overlooking the Roanoke Sound. We always get a house on the sound because the view is breathtaking, especially in the evening when the sun is setting. More importantly the sound side is much quieter and less expensive. Nags Head has many mini-golf courses, great restauraunts, and cool shopping outlets for the whole family. I highly recommend Nags Head to any honeymooning couple or family looking to get away.

It will be about 3 yrs-where my husband works he gets vacation time but on top of that he also get laid off at the same time.
