Hay Guys

Well this is my situation. We have a wire fence and behind that fence is the cities area. Their are dead vines and dead trees and dead everything and its just looks hidious. We have asked the city to do something about it and they dont. How can I cover that up so we dont see it. I was thinking someing like a tarp or anything like that but what can i do. Now i cant burn it because im in cities limits. If someone give me a good answer I would be very very happy . Thank you guys very much.

If you want that area cleaned up and the city refuses after complaining and filing petitions with the city you can do what they do in Detroit, call the local TV news and see if you can get them to embarrass the city into doing something about it.

I agree with the lattice idea. If your yard is close to the lattice and you plant ivy it will get in your yard.. I would try finding a vine that is not as aggresive as ivy.

You might consider morning glory, but you would have to plant it every year.

If your city has an ordinance about eye sores- and many do nowadays- You could complain about that. Otherwise you could try planting an attractive hedge to screen it off.

Good luck!
