They already have.If Wal-Mart would declare itself a nation it would be about the 10 largest nation in the world.

Wal-Mart is huge even a larger employer in the United States than the US Government? You can express your concerns to the Better Business Bureau and the US Comemrce Department or your local Senators and government officials if you are so unhappy about the World's Largest Retailer in America and the WORLD okay! It is unlikely since Wal*Mart had already withdrawn from Germany and Korea in 2006.

Domestically, Wal*Mart is also exeperiencing sales performance issues in recent months...

No they will not...silly. Hey why don't you shop at Target and pay more. I shop where I can save the most money for my family and if that's Wal-Mart then so be it.

In general, it seems that corporations are increasing their global power and that could lead to a new form of tyranny. The influx of cash from corporations into government is particularly worrying to me. Of course, if we as a people let it happen by being obsessed with materialism, then we'll get what we deserve. Unfortunately, those who aren't materialistic will get brought down too.

No itw ill not be that but they are a force to be reconed with.

Like most they will begin to loose fame and fortune probably in about ten years they will begin to close many stores.
