Well, I thought this one would be a tough one but I think I can answer it.
You don't owe anyone an explanation of who you are and where your heritage comes from. You are a product of a wonderful mix of different bloods.
See, this world is going through many trials with the war, hurricanes, and other evils. And all those women want to talk about is how you look.
They should be ashamed of themsevelves. I get mistaken for Haitian. But I am going through my family tree to see if it is true and I am seeing that it is.

isn't is marvelous how pigeon-holing is so trouble-loose? nicely, get this - my mom is Greek, my dad is Irish, English, Dutch, and no person believes that i'm a million/2 Greek. i in my opinion do no longer care, yet I drew the line whilst somebody observed as my mom a liar: whilst she took me together with her to the industry, and a pair of females condescendingly informed her to end mendacity approximately me being her new child - and don't attempt to cover the reality of being a Mexican maid! what's up with some human beings? so some distance as explaining how human beings see you as Asian - they are looking by way of an extremely slender perspective. there is a lot for them to discover! Have a healthy and happy bounce year!

I don't usually get mistaken, people just plain don't know. My skin is fairly light, but when I tan I get brown, not "tan"/orange...if that makes sense. I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. I'm not hispanic, I'm not Italian, I'm not native American, I'm not half black...I'm half Indian! India as in the country. The other half of me is...well white. People usually are mistaken when I say Indian, and assume Native American..not the country, "India". I don't really look like the typical "Indian" that you see in the US I suppose, many of my traits are way different. I suppose thats the "white" half of me.

You should avoid dumb conversations with those women at your job--they're trying to brainwash you. You don't hav to learn the black culture or date black men.
As 4 yor question, no I haven't been mistaken for another culture.
Don't let this or ppl like those women bother you--life is too short.

How sorry if you are bothered about this kind of craps. In my country, everyone's skin colour comes into one and the same category, so it is very common for people to be mistaken for other cultures or races. I have been mistaken so many times. Here 50% of the time you cant tell a person's culture, race or religion.

Most people have me pegged as a person of German origin. My father was Polish and my mother was Scottish.

All the time man, I'm half white and half black. So, I can be Greek, Italian, Hispanic, or even middle eastern at any given time depending on how my hair is cut. It used to be quite the novelty, now I'm rather bored with it. This week, I'm from Venezuela.
