Republicans do not slam celebrities. As you point out, there have been a few successful ones. Republicans slam libs who get their talking points from stupid celebrities, re: Alec Baldwin and Al Franken of Air America Infamy.
BTW, an NRA president is not a public office.

It is the other way around. Celebs. slay rep. all the time. There are lots more liberal celebs. than cons. celebs.
Fred Thompson is great. He was a great senator. Reagan is one of he best presidents we have ever had. He is in my top three.
Arnold…if you know CA politics you know would know that out of all the candidates running in the recall he was the most likely one to win since he is not as conservative as Tom Mc.(good guy by the way). For a republican to win in CA now of days he/she has to can’t be too far right in such a blue state.
What’s wrong with “celebrities” having political positions if they are capable of them?...there is nothing wrong with it.

I think you have it a bit backwards. Celebrities slam republicans more than the other way around. A better question would be why does anyone care about most Celebrities take on politics.

You seem leaning in direction of the Democratic platform until eventually you stated which you're pondering balloting for Bush's third term. A majority of people are professional capital punishment until eventually they understand what proportion fellow voters have been jailed and/or sentenced to loss of existence row until eventually DNA data exonerated them. touching directly to yet another merchandise on your checklist: terrorists. all of us evaluate those evil beings to be below scum and inhuman, yet condoning torture is inhumane, creates greater terrorists and terrorism, and lowers the U.S. to their point of indecency and violence. although, maximum people understand that the culprits of 9/eleven might desire to be captured or killed. Your stand on social themes are surely left of middle, which might additionally be representative of the Democratic party.

yes, but you just mentioned a few, the majority of Hollywood people are liberal democrats and proud of it. So, there for the republicans slam them. It's sort of a mutual mistrust.

Someone needs to slap those idiots in Hollywood......they make way too much money for roles that most of us could play as well and they put themselves on an undeserved pedestal.

Because liberal actors would rather tear down our country instead of working to make it better.
Here are a few of the more well known examples:
Barbra Streisand
Sean Penn
Jane Fonda

because most of the VOCAL ONES are detached from society and have a very poor concept of the world and how it affects the common citizen. they are far from common and the opnions are skewed by the availability of the press and money that allow them to be that vocal.

I'm glad you included our next president in that list. Fred Thompson. He'll be the second greatest president, right behind Ronald Reagan.
