I just want to know what people think about us. I'm the V.Pres and section leader and former secretary for 2 years so I'm really involved in band and my "blinders" have been on to the opinions of those not in band. Let me know. I want to know EVERYONES opinions
I'm happy and everything. Nothing that you say will offend me. I just want to see what the opinion of band is in the world today.

Only when in competition because i see it as a performance sport. At a football game no they are simply there to inspire the football team and get the crowd fired up. They aren't playing against another schools band. It takes a lot of stamina to be in the band and more time commitment than other normal sports. Marching band kids tend to be in better physical shape then a lot of sport players.

I wonder the same thing. I'm also in marching band at my school and we're a really competitive group. A lot of my friends are in marching band because I see them the most. It's so time consuming, but other friends of mine not in marching band either wish they were in it or think it's stupid.

I did it as a young person and hav fun,fun memories! I love to see a parade and know all the work put in for all of our enjoyment and watching the baby's is so much fun they love the marching band!

I'm on a colorguard for marching band, and tho this is my second year, i can't wait, marching season was a lot of fun!
