I play High School Lacrosse. i am a good attack player. Midfielders take it all the way to the goal but I am always open. How do I get thier attention without sounding rude?

Make sure they know off field that you're looking for the ball, tell them beforehand. Be loud. Be repetative. After an unsuccessful play just say "I was open, watch for me next time, I'm always there!" just to drive your point home.

When running plays at practice, make sure you're open and make sure you get the ball so you can SHOW them how useful you are. If they get really bad about ball-hogging, point this out to them after they fail a play or cause a turnover and make sure your coach is aware (tell him quietly or after a game alone) that you were there and you feel you are being underutilized. He may make sure they know you are there next time, "look for Johnson!" or whatever your name is.

Good luck!!!
