I need help on a report and I need to know anything that happened in 1962, 1976, 1978, 1980, 1982, 1984, 1986, 1988, 1991 and 1994.

1978---the longest walk....by 300 native americans begins, to protect treaty rights
1980--President Carter announces an embargo on the sale of grain and high technology to the Soviet Union because of its invasion of Afghanistian.
1982---the Vietnam War Memorial is dedicated in Washington D.C.
1984....first woman to walk in space---Dr. Kathyrn D. Sullivan
1986---Martin Luther King...birthday observances
1988---Panama relations
1991---USA attacks Iraq
1994---Janet Reno is in office---

if you go to wikipedia, every year has an entry with events that happened. you can use that as a starting point to research them.

I mean, lots of stuff happened in each of those years, so unless you are looking on a specific topic (things that happened in politics, military missions, laws, etc) that would be your best bet.
