Ok, lets go through some things that make you real!
1) You are loved by many people, would people actually love something that is not real, that you can't hold? You have people that like you, that hug you. You can't hold something that is not real. Think about it this way, you can imagine that you are not real, but you can also imagine that there is a dollar bill in your pocket. But if you don't have a dollar bill in your pocket, even if you imagine it really, really hard, will you be able to hold it and spend it? No matter how hard you imagine or think that you are not real, you are. If you were not real, there would be no reason to answering your question. I would be talking to the air.
2) What do all humans have alike? We have blood running through our vains, a heart pumping inside of us. Can you feel your heart? That is your life force! Without your heart, you could not live, you could not be real. What else? Breathing, can you feel your breath on your hand. Take a deap breath, can you feel your lungs expand, that is real. Try holding your breath, see how long you can do it. You will find yourself starting to feel like you are going to burst, and then you will eventually have to breath. If you were not real, you wouldn't need to breathe.
3) You feel sad and happy. Those feelings are real. When you feel that you are not real and that makes you sad, that feeling is real. Because this makes you sad means you are real! When you are so miserable, that is a real feeling and if you didn't feel anything, then something may be wrong. Because that hurts you and makes you sad is proof that you are real and everything around you is real.
4) You can cause pain to others. Your actions can affect others. If you say something mean to your parents or friends, it would hurt their feelings. How can someone not real cause harm or pain to others?
5) You obviously can think and reason. You wrote this question about how you feel. Not only that, but you have asked it before. If you can think and feel these things, you must be real. "I think, therefore I am." -- (René Descartes)
Now, I would suggest that you have a synopsis in your brain that keeps going back to this thought. You can break the cycle. You just need to focus on the reasons why you are real. Here is what you can do to start. Whenever that thought comes into your head, immediately push it out. Replace it with the thoughts that you are real and tell your self why.
The thought you are having is an 'irrational thought'. You need to write down your irrational thought and then write down the reasons why that thought is irrational and tell yourself that thought is irrational. For example:
Irrational thought: I am not real.
Challange: I have to be real. I have people that love me, and I feel sad and I can make other people feel happy or sad. I am breathing and I have a heart beat like everyone else.
You may have to do this alot before you believe it yourself. If you do this all the time, everytime, you will find yourself starting to believe the challange to your irrational thought rather than the irrational thought!
This is called 'cognitive behavioral therapy' and it can be life changing. You must work at it hard though, and really try to focus on the rational thought rather then the irrational thought. And I know you could say, 'But I really do believe that I am not real', well, believe it because everyone else thinks you are real and you know that you are real, otherwise, you wouldn't have asked this question.
Think about everything I have said, I know it is a lot, but I hope that it is helpful!
I know that you can do this and I know that you can be happy!
Think positive thoughts and hang in there!

The reason you don't get "the right answer" is because you say, in your first sentence, you won't listen to the right answer.
If you were just a philosophy student wondering what proof there is that we're not in someone else's dream, that would be one thing.
This is interfering with your life and well-being.
You need to talk to a professional.
Someone who can actually help you.
Someone who's heard it before, and knows how to help.
You don't say why you "can't" do the one thing that would actually help you.
If it's money, they'll work with you on that.
If it's that you think they'll think you're crazy, they've heard much crazier things.
That you don't feel real is worrisome.
You need to get some help with this.
You don't have to go on feeling this way.
Whatever it is that's stopping you from getting help, ignore it.
Asking this question a million times will not help you.
There are people who CAN help; talk to them.

i feel that way sometimes too.
i dont think you need a therapist.
thinking that way is kind of scary,
but maybe thats for the best.
you could think
"hey, since im in a dream and it could end soon, i mind as well be one of those characters the dreamer remembers rather than being blended in with the rest."
i think every day that i could die, [not on purpose]
but i try to live everyday to its fullest.
but its weird, i live by the quote
"live everyday as your first, not your last"
thats how im always learning new things.
i know this doesnt help much,
but i hope it does a little! =]

Try skydiving. No really you need life affirming experiences that are exciting. You sound like you are possibly getting in a dissociative state. Just keep confronting the irrational thought that we don't really exist. Remember imaginary characters don't bleed.

this may not make much sense, but you could try playing a RPG video game. The ability to live someone else's life can really change your perceptions. Or maybe it won't, it really doesn't matter. Changing your perceptions will ultimately change your reality.

I never thought of that one, but I am d@#* near sure we have all died and this is what hell really is. Pick your poison I guess, could we all be in need of therapy? or maybe "we're" more in-tune than the rest of the cattle on that big race to the middle!

Honey, I know you said not to see a therapist, but that's the best thing for you to do. If the issue is money that is keeping you from being able to go to a therapist, then talk to your pastor. He should be able to help. You need help to be able to work through this. I'll be praying for you.
