thats like "military Intelligence" or non-alcoholic beer, or decaf-coffee.
whats the point, and they don,t go together. No Christian would call themselves a Heavy Metal artist. the Attitude, which is a big thing in Metal music, much like rap has it's attitude, is in direct contrast to the gentle and calm teachings of Christ. now there may be some religious minded guys who'll do anything for a buck, and using a Christian guise to bilk people of money goes back to the days prior to when Jesus cleared the temple of the people selling products that where suppose to be holy or approved by God, what a bunch of bunk, and he tore into them and kicked them out. SO there are no Chrsitian Metal bands, they may call themselves that, but The Lord isn't buying it, and neither will I.do some metal songs with a few references to the Bible or God, but I think thats more for ticket sales and cd profits than a genuine sharing of there life changing experience in coming to know Jesus Christ as there LOrd and savior.

Fountain of Tears
Random Eyes
Petra
Jonah33
Those are a few of my faves. They are more metal than a lot of the other bands listed in other answers. You should check out Heaven's Metal magazine it has all the info on Christian metal bands.

Regardless of what they say, I think Evanescence.
I am sorry they are a Christian band. . .although they deny it. Listen to the lyrics.
