Okay, I am confused on thsi issue. If on limewire (i haven't downloaded it yet) I set the filters option on, does it make it legal?
It filters copyrighted files.... right?

filter only filters out certain words, if you dont wanna download illegally get something faster like iTunes store or napster

Downloading is legal and copying is also. It is Illegal to sell or make a profit off of downloading.

it is illeagal to air the content you have downloaded as the content is for personal use only
Lime wire is a little unsecure just dont download wma files because you can get infected
try morpheus it is very secure but sometimes you wont be able to download the stuff you want
