MOSTLY back of the neck pains due to wrong position of the head because you will be looking down at the screen. Need not worry about sperm getting cooked since hot exhaust goes to the side. There is more danger to the laptop. It could overheat if your lap covers the air intake port.

There are unproven theories that it can cause sterility, or other "performance" issues. The biggest health issues are with bad ergonomics. Your head is tilted down to read the screen, arms and palms are not at proper angles in most cases. A stiff neck and carpal tunnel syndrome are far more likely to occur. I highly recommend that you get some kind of lap desk or find some way to keep your laptop physically seperated from your lap. the heat from the internal circuits can burn your lap. Though, not all that badly in most cases.
I would not worry too much about it otherwise.

It depends how hot your laptop gets. If you're burning your male parts due to the heat...that could be a problem. As far as the "radiation" that emits from a laptop, will not pierce your skin or clothes. Even if it did, it is of such low energy that it would not cause any damage. This assumes you have a standard laptop and it doesn't produce any radioactive byproducts (to my knowledge, no laptops do this).

Our two friends down there need to stay at a certian temperature, thats why when your in a cold pool you know what happens, they come closer to the body for heat.

and when you have laptop thats running hot on your lap for long periods of time this creates an anomaly for the temperature.

The sperms is stored in a cold place down there so just don't get your laptop too close to your private parts. :-) To avoid cooking the sperms and you know what. You can't eat those kind of eggs you know.... Hehe.

Decreased sperm count is associated with increased temperature and restrictive clothing (tight jeans, briefs). You can check Medscape and NIH.gov for more information.
